Question :-

Find the simple interest on ₹500 for 3 years at 6% p.a.

Answer :-

Given :-

  • Principal = ₹ 500
  • Time = 3 years
  • Rate of interest = 6% p.a.

To Find :-

  • Simple interest

Solution :-

We know that,

Simple interest = P × R × T / 100

Here, we are given principal, time and rate of interest. So, by simple substituting the value in formula, we can find simple interest.

→ SI = 500 × 6 × 3 / 100

→ SI = 5 × 6 × 3

→ SI = 30 × 3

→ SI = 90

Simple interest = ₹90

Correct Question :-

\\

  • Find the simple interest on ₹500 for 2 years at 6% p.a.

\\

Given :-

\\

  • Principal = 500
  • Time = 3 years
  • Rate of interest = 6 p.a.

\\

To find :-

\\

  • Find the Simple interest ?

\\

As we know that,

\\

  • Formula Used :

\\

\large\star\boxed{\bf{simple \: interest = \frac{p  \: \times \: r \:  \times  \: t }{100}}}\large\star

Solution :-

\\

  • We are given Principal , Time and Rate of interest. So, by simple substituting the value in the formula, we can find simple interest.

\\

:\impliesSI = \large{\sf{500 \: \times \: 6 \: \times \: \frac{3}{100}}}

\\

~~~~~:\impliesSI = 5 × 6 × 3
\\
~~~~~~~~~~:\impliesSI = 30 × 3

\\

~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~:\implies\large{\underline{\boxed{\pink{\frak{SI~=~90}}}}}
\\
\large\dag Hence,
\\
