Given that ,

The two points are (4,8) and (5,-12)

We know that , the slope of line is given by

  \large \sf\fbox{Slope \:  (m)  =  \frac{ y_{2} -  y_{1}}{ x_{2} -  x_{2}} }

Thus ,

 \sf \mapsto m =  \frac{ - 12 - 8}{5 - 4}  \\  \\ \sf \mapsto m =  \frac{ - 20}{1}  \\  \\ \sf \mapsto m =  - 20

  \therefore\sf \underline{The \:  slope  \: of \:  the  \: line  \: is  -20}
