apply formula for finding the slope

m ={(y2-y1)/(x2 - x1)}

so, m={(-4-(2))/(1-(-5))

m=(-6)/6

m=(-1)

here
let A(-5,2) and B(1,-4)
therefore
the slope of line is
AB=y2-y1/x2-x1
AB=-4-2/1+5
AB=-6/6
AB=-1

is the answer of your question.
