Solution :

Let C( 3,0 ) = ( x1 , y1 ),

D( -1 , -2 ) = ( x2 , y2 )

Now ,

Slope of a line joining the points CD

( m ) = ( y2 - y1 )/( x2 - x1 )

= ( -2 - 0 )/( -1 - 3 )

= -2/-4

= 1/2

Therefore ,

Slope of a line CD ( m ) = 1/2
