Factors of 1100 are,

1100=5*5*2*2*11

Since, 11 does not forms a pair therefore 11 should be multiplied to 1100 to make it a perfect square.

1100*11=12100

Now,

12100=5*5*2*2*11*11

√12100=5*2*11

√ 12100=110

hope it helps

Answer:

Smallest Number=11

Square Root of the perfect square obtained=10

Step-by-step explanation:

Prime Factorisation of 1100=2x2x5x5x11

As we observe 11 doesn't form a pair, it is the no. which sould be multiplied by 1100 to obtain a perfect square.

1100=2x2x5x5x11

1100/11=2x2x5x5. (shifting 11to the LHS)

√100=2^2x5^2

√100=2x5

√100=10
