Factorise 180

180 = 2*90 = 2*2*45 = 2*2*3*3*5 = 4*9*5
Now we can see that we have 2 perfect square factors. If we multiply another '5', we will get a perfect square number
180 * 5 = 4*9*5*5
Square root = 2*3*5 = 30

Hence the smallest whole number by which 180 should be multiplied so as to get a perfect square is '5'
And the square root of the number(900) obtained so is '30'.
