Answer:

2(x-1) + 2(3x-1)

2(x-1) + 2(3x-1) x =1/2

2(x-1) + 2(3x-1) x =1/22(1/2-1) + 2(3(1/2)-1)

2(x-1) + 2(3x-1) x =1/22(1/2-1) + 2(3(1/2)-1) 2(-1/2) + 2(1/2)

2(x-1) + 2(3x-1) x =1/22(1/2-1) + 2(3(1/2)-1) 2(-1/2) + 2(1/2)0

Hope it helps........#superman

 <font color = red>

 \pink{2(x - 1) + 2(3x - 1) }

 \red{2( \frac{1}{2}  - 1) + 2 (\frac{3}{2}  - 1)} \\ 2( \frac{1 - 2}{2} ) + 2( \frac{3 - 2}{2} ) \\  \\ 2 \: and \: 2are \: canceled \\  - 1 + 1 =  > 0
