\sf\huge\bold{\underline{\underline{{Solution}}}}

x+y= 5--------(1)

x= 5-y

At y=0

➙x= 5-0

➙x= 5

At y= 1

➙x= 5-1

➙x= 4

At y = 2

➙x= 5-2

➙x=3

Plot points in table

\sf \large \boxed{\begin{tabular}{c|c|c|c}x & 5& 4 & 3 \\ \cline{1-4} y &0 &1 & 2\end{tabular}}

Note:Kindly open it from web as latex is not visible on this app.

-----------------------------------------------------------

x+2y=7-----(2)

x= 7-2y

At y =0

➙x= 7-2(0)

➙x= 7

At y= 1

➙x=7-2

➙x=5

At y=2

➙x= 7-2(2)

➙x= 7-4

➙x= 3

Plot points in table

\large \boxed{\begin{tabular}{c|c|c|c}x & 7 & 5& 3 \\ \cline{1-4} y & 0& 1 & 2\end{tabular}}

Hence,the value of x is 3 and value of y is 2.

Check:

➙x+y=5

➙3+2=5
