Answer:

let's the

1/x=a

1/y=b

2/x+3/y=3

3/x+6/y=5

2a+3b=3

3a+6b=5

equation (i)×6 & (ii)×3

12a+18b=18

9a+18b=15

3a=3

a=1

now,put the value a in equation (i)

2a+3b=3

2×1+3b=3

3b=1

b=1/3

let's put the value of a&b

1/x=a

1/x=1

x=1

1/y=b

1/y=1/3

y=3

••••X=1… Y=3.
