Given equation : x+2y=8

(1) : Point on X-axis

implies that y = 0

Putting in equation
we get,

x+2(0) = 8

x = 8

Point (Solution) on X-axis : (8,0)

---------------------------------------
(2) : Point on Y-axis

implies that x = 0

Putting in equation
we get,

0+2y = 8

2y = 8

y = 4

Point (Solution) on Y-axis : (0,4)
