Let the usual Speed of the plane be y km/hr

Now the speed of the plane = (y+250)km/hr

$\frac{1500}{y}-\frac{1500}{y+250}=\frac{30}{60}\\\\\\\to \frac{1500y+1500\times250-1500y}{y(y+250)}\\\\\\\to 1500\times250\times2=y(y+250)\\\\\\\to 750000=y^2+250y\\\\\\\to y^2+250y-750000=0\\\\\\\to y(y+1000)-750y(y+1000)=0\\\\\\\to (y+1000)(y-750)=0\\\\\\\therefore y=750,-1000$
