Find the square root of 14400

Multiply the last digit above the radical (0) by the number inside the parentheses (0) and insert the product under the last term. Subtract 0 from 0 to get 0 . Since there are 3 pair of numbers to the left of the decimal place in 14400 , the decimal of the answer is put 3 place from the left side of the answer...

 \sqrt{14400}  =  \sqrt{144 \times 100} \\  \\    = \sqrt{144}  \times  \sqrt{100}  \\  \\  =  \sqrt{ {12}^{2} }  \times  \sqrt{ {10}^{2} }  \\  \\  = 12 \times 10 \\  \\  = 120
