we know that

(a +b)^2=a^2+2ab+b^2

(100+25)^2=100^2+2*100*25+25^2

=10000+5000+625

=15625

b)35^2=?

35^2=(25 +10)^2

=25^2+2*25*10+10^2

=625+500+100

=1225

c)85^2=(100-15)^2

=100^2+15^2-2*100*15

=10000+225-3000

=10225-3000

=7225

d)15^2=(10+5)^2

=10^2+5^2+2*10*5

=100+25+100

=225
