Find the sum 3 + 5 + 7 + 9 + … + 29

a = 3

d = 2

l = 29

.

an = a + (n-1)d

29= 3+(n-1)(2)

26=(n-1)×2

13=n-1

n=14

.

Sum =

 \frac{n}{2} (a + l)

 =  \frac{14}{2} (3 + 29)

 = 7 \times 32

 = 224
