Step-by-step explanation:

6x^2 - x - 2 = 0

6x^2 - 4x + 3x - 2 = 0

2x ( 3x - 2 ) + 1 ( 3x - 2 ) = 0

( 2x + 1 ) ( 3x - 2 ) = 0

X = - 1/2 , 2/3

Sum : - b/a = - (-1) / 6 = 1/6

Product : c/a = - 2/6 = - 1/3

Hope it helps you
