Answer:

p(x) = x²-4x+3 = 0

ax²+bx+c = 0

take α and β as zeroes of p(x)

α+β = (sum of the zeroes )

= -b/a

= -(-4)/1

= 4

αβ =( product of zeroes )

= c/a

= 3/1

= 3

sum of the roots is 4 and product is 3
