a(n)= a + (n-1)d = 2+1/2n

a(1) = 2 + 1/2 (1) = 5/2

a(2)= 2 + 1/2 (2) = 3

a(3) = 2 + 1/2 (3) = 7/2

from the above concept we get ... a= 5/2 & d= 1/2

Sn =  n/2 [2a + (n-1)d ]

     = 15 [5 + 29(1/2)]

     = 15 (39/2)

     = 589/2

     = 292  1/2  

     = 292.5
