Solution :

Sum of interior angles of a polygon

= ( n- 2) x 180

where n = number of sides of a polygon.

Number of sides of a decagon = 10

Sum of interior angles of a decagon

= (10 - 2) x 180°

= 8 x 180°

= 1440°

Hence the sum of interior angles of a decagon is 1440°.
