Solution:

even integers from 1 to 50

= 2 , 4 , 6 , 8 , ... ______ , 48 , 50

Adding all

2 + 4 + 6 + 8 + ... _____ + 48 + 50

Taking 2 common

= 2(1 + 2 + 3 + 4 + ... ____ + 24 + 25)

∑n = n(n + 1)/2

= 2 (25)(25 + 1)/2

= 25 (26)

= 650

Sum of  even integers from 1 to 50 is 650
