sum of roots = – b/a ...............formula

where b = coefficient of x

and a = coefficient of x²

thus,,, sum of roots = – 5/2

nd if u have to find out product of roots,, formula is C/a ......where c is constant term and a is coefficient of x²

hope understood

2x2+5x+3=0

4x+5x+3=0

9x+3=0

sum of the roots=-b/a

(-coefficient of x/constant term)

=-9/3

=-3

nazila101: absolutely wrong
nazila101: which method is this????,,,this is a quadratic equation not 4x
