hey mate:

given here.

(x^2+4)/(x-2)

multiplicative inverse.will be

= -[(x-2)/x^2+4)]

a/c question..

sum of its

=[(x^2+4)/(x-2)]+[-{(x-2)/(x^2+4)}]

= [(x^2+4)(x^2+4)-(x-2)(x-2)]/(x-2)(x^2+4)

=( x^4+8x^2+16-x^2+4x-4)/(x-2)(x^2+4)

=(x^4+7x^2+4x+12)/(x^3+4x-2x^2-8)

I hopes its helps u.

Answer:

Additive inverse of a term a is −a and its multiplicative inverse is

a

1

Therefore, additive inverse of a term

x

2

−4

x−2

is −

x

2

−4

x−2

and its multiplicative inverse is

x−2

x

2

−4

So, required product of additive inverse and multiplicative inverse of the given term is −

x

2

−4

(x−2)

×

x−2

x

2

−4

=−1
