Total Surface area of Hemisphere = 3πr²
where, r is the radius of the Hemisphere.
d = 14 cm
r = d/2 = 14/2 = 7 cm
Total Surface Area = 3πr²
where, r is the radius of the Hemisphere.
d = 14 cm
r = d/2 = 14/2 = 7 cm
Total Surface Area = 3πr²

Question : Find the surface area of the given figure.
Given Data :
- The shape is a hemisphere
- The diameter is 14 cm.
The total surface area of a hemisphere is 3πr², Where r is the radius and π is called pi.
The value of pi can be taken as or as 3.14
In the question, the diameter is given as 14 cm. We know that, radius is half of diameter. Hence, the radius of the given hemisphere will be = 7 cm.
Let us take it as
So, 3 × ×( 7)²
= 462 cm.
Therefore, the total surface area of the given hemisphere is 462 cm.
