volume \: of \: cube = 512 {m}^{3}  \\  {a}^{3}  = 512 \\ a =  \sqrt[3]{512}  \\ a = 8 \\ surface \: area = 6 {a}^{2}  \\  \:  \:  \:  \:  \:  \:  \:  \:  \:  = 6 \times 8 \times 8 \\  = 6 \times 64 \\  = 384 {m}^{2}

surface area of cube = 6a^²

volume of cube = a^³

512=a^³

8= a

now surface area of cube= 6×(8)^²

surface area of cube= 384m^²

hope it helps
