i) Given,

edge of the cube = 8cm

Total surface area = 6×(8)^2

= 6×64

= 384 cm^2

ii)Area of a cuboid =2(lb+bh+hl)

Where l =length

b =breath

h =height

L= 5cm

B=4cm

H=3cm

2(5*4+4*3+3*5)

2(20+12+15)

2(47)

2*47

94cm²

Surface area of the cuboid = 94cm²

Before, finding the answer. Let's find out on how we can find the answer.

  • To find the Surface Area of Cube, we must use the formula of :

\boxed{\sf Surface \: Area \: of \: Cube = 6a^2}

Here, we have to multiply the side with side. Then, multiply that with 6.

  • To find the Surface Area of Cuboid, we must use the formula of :

\boxed{\sf Surface \: Area =2 \: lb+lh+hb}

Given :

  • Edge = 8 cm

To find :

  • Surface area of Cube

Solution :

Surface area of Cube = 6a²

                                    = 6 × (a × a)

                                    = 6 × (8 × 8)

                                    = 6 × 64

                                    = 384 cm²

∴ Surface area of Cube is 384 cm².

Given :

  • Length = 8 cm
  • Breadth

To find :

  • Surface area of Cube

Solution :

Surface area of Cuboid = 2 lb + lh + hb

                                       = 2 (4 × 3) + (4 × 2) + (2 × 3)

                                       = 2 (12 + 8 + 6)

                                       = 2 × 26

                                       = 52 cm²

Surface area of Cuboid is 52 cm².
