Solution

GIVEN,

Rahul wants to cover the floor of a room whose

Wide 3 m

Long 4 m

Area of room = length X breadth

⟹3 \times 4

⟹12

Area of one tile

⟹0.5 \times 0.5

⟹0.25

Number of tiles is given by the formula,

number =  \frac{area \: of \: room}{area \: of \: one \: tile \: }

So, number = 12/0.25

⟹48

Thus 48 tiles will be used to cover an room floor
