let the three consecutive even numbers be (x +2) , (x+4), and (x+6)
According to the question,
(x +2) + (x+4) + (x+6) = 66
=> x + 2 + x + 4 + x + 6 = 66
=> 3x + 12 = 66
=> 3x = 66 - 12
=> 3x = 54
=> x =
=> x = 18
therefore,
(x + 2) = (18 + 2) = 20
(x + 4) = (18 + 4) = 22
(x + 6) = (18 + 6) = 24
So, the three consecutive even numbers are : 20, 22 and 24
