Question:

Find the three consecutive natural numbers such that the sum of first and second is 15 more than third number.

Answer:

Let the consecutive natural numbers be x, x + 1, x + 2

A/Q,

(Third Number) + 15 = First Number + Second Number)

(x + 2) + 15 = x + (x + 1)

x + 17 = 2x + 1

2x - x = 17 - 1

x = 16

First Number = x = 16

Second Number = x + 1 = 16 + 1 = 17

Third Number = x + 2 = 16 + 2 = 18

Thank You!
