Answer:

\bigstar\:\boxed{\sf Simple\: Interest=\dfrac{Principal \times Rate \times Time}{100}}

\rule{120}{1}

\boxed{\bf{\mid{\overline{\underline{\bigstar\:According\:to\:the\:Question :}}}}\mid}

:\implies\sf Simple\: Interest=\dfrac{Principal \times Rate \times Time}{100}\\\\\\:\implies\sf Rs.\:500=\dfrac{Rs.\:2500 \times 5 \times Time}{100}\\\\\\:\implies\sf Rs.\:500 = Rs.\:25 \times 5 \times Time\\\\\\:\implies\sf \dfrac{Rs.\:500}{Rs.\:25 \times 5} = Time\\\\\\:\implies\underline{\boxed{\sf Time = 4 \:years}}

\therefore\:\underline{\textsf{Time required in this will be \textbf{4 years}}}.

SI = 500

principle = 2500

rate = 5per annum

therefore, time = SI×100 by P×R

=500×100 ÷ 2500×5

=4 years

time = 4 years
