Solution :-

→ Shaded region area = Area of Trapezium - Area of circle .

we know that,

  • Area of Trapezium = 1(/2)(sum of parallel sides) * height .
  • Area of circle = π * (radius)²

→ Shaded region area = (1/2)[18 + 35] * 18 - 3.14 * 6 * 6

→ Shaded region area = 9 * 53 - 3.14 * 36

→ Shaded region area = 477 - 113.04

→ Shaded region area = 363.96 cm² (Ans.)
