The ratio given to us for Flour : Margarine : Butter : : 4 : 2 : 1.
We are also given that Margarine is 400g.
Since the ratio given for flour is double than that of Margarine, the mass of flour will be 800g.
Similarly, the ratio given for butter is half than that of Margarine, the mass of butter will be 200g.
Total mass of flour and butter will be = 800g + 200g = 1000g = 1kg
