Diameter of cylindrical drum = 50 cm

Radius of drum =\frac{50}{2}= 25 cm

Height of drum = 45 cm

Total surface area of drum = 2 \pi r h + 2 \pi r^2

                                             = 2 \times \frac{22}{7} \times 25 \times 45 + 2 \times \frac{22}{7} \times (25)^2

                                            =11000 cm^2
