250cm=2.5 m
we know that
total surface of cube=6×side^2
=6×2.5
=15m^2
we know that
total surface of cube=6×side^2
=6×2.5
=15m^2

Total surface area of cube =
So , we find in meter square that's why we convert 250 cm into metre .
250 - 2.5m
6× (2.5)^2
=37.5 m ^2
