Dear Student,

● Answer -

TSA = 616 cm^2

● Explanation -

# Given -

d = 14 cm

# Solution -

Radius of hemispherical bowl is -

r = 14 / 2

r = 7 cm

Inner surface area of hemispherical bowl is 2πr^2 and outer surface area of hemispherical bowl is 2πr^2.

Total surface area (inner + outer) of bowl is -

TSA = 2πr^2 + 2πr^2

TSA = 4πr^2

TSA = 4 × 22/7 × 7^2

TSA = 4 × 22 × 7

TSA = 616 cm^2

Hence, total surface area of hollow hemispherical bowl is 616 cm^2.

Thanks dear. Hope this helps you...
