Find the total surface area of each of the following right circular cylinders :

(a) diameter of the base = 7 cm, height = 21 cm

(b) radius of the base = 14 m, height = 6m!!

Given d=7cm and h=40cm .

Total surface area =2πr(r+h)

=2π3.5(3.5+40)=956.13

∴T.S.A=957 cm

A=2πrh+2πr2

=2·π·14·6+2·π·142

≈1759.29189m²
