Radius of Hemisphere = 10 cm

Total Surface Area = 3πr²

= 3 × 314/100 × 10 × 10 (π = 3.14)

= 3 × 314

= 642 cm²

Hence

Total Surface Area = 642 cm²

GIVEN:

  • Radius of Hemisphere = 10 cm

TO FIND:

  • What is the total surface area of hemisphere ?

SOLUTION:

We know that the formula for finding the total surface area of hemisphere is:-

\large{\boxed{\bf{\star \: T.S.A. = 3 \pi r^2 \: \star}}}

Take π = 22/7

  • π = 22/7
  • Radius (r) = 10 cm

According to question:-

\sf{\longmapsto TSA = 3 \times \dfrac{22}{7} \times (10)^2 }

\sf{\longmapsto TSA = \dfrac{66}{7} \times 100 }

\sf{\longmapsto TSA = \cancel\dfrac{6600}{7} }

\bf{\longmapsto TSA = 942.85 \: cm^2 }

Hence, the Total surface area of hemisphere is 942.85 cm²
