TSA=CSA of cone+CSA of hemisphere
= Height of cone=15.5-3.5=11 cm..
find slant height...then substitute in the above formula...

total surface area of toy =area of conical part+area of hemispherical part
=pi.r.l+2pi.r^2
l=root {(12)^2+(3.5)^2}=root (156.25)=12.5(approx)
now area =22/7x (3.5) x(12.5)+2x22/7 (3.5)^2=137.5+77=214.5cm^2
