Answer:

Step-by-step explanation:

Let the number be 10x + y

Given:  digit at the tens place is 5 less than twice the digit at units

=> y=2x-5 ---------------------1

Given:  the sum of original number and number obtained by interchanging the digit is 176

=>10x+y +10y+x=176

=>10x + 2x-5 +10(2x-5) +x =176   (Applying 1)

=>12x+20x-5-50 = 176

=>32x-55=176

=>32x= 231

=>x=7.

y=2x-5

 =14-5 = 9.

Therefore, number=79
