Answer:

Step-by-step explanation:Q7(a)Sum of interior opposite angles of a triangle=exterior angle.So,

angle y= 115-40= 75 degrees

to find out angle x using angle sum property of a triangle= 180-(115+40)

=180-155= 25 degrees

(b) in triangle ADC using angle sum property of a triangle

angle x=180-(45+60)=180-105=75 degrees

on BC as angle ADC and angle ADB are a linear pair so,

angle y=180-75= 105 degrees

in triangle ADB we find out angle z by using angle sum property of a triangle

angle z= 180-(40+105)=180-145=35 degrees

(c)in triangle TSR angle y=20 degrees as it is vertically opposite to angle PRQ. we know that angle Q and angle S are 90 degrees.

using angle sum property of a triangle w ecan find out angle T and P which are both 70 degrees.

(d) angle y= linear pair=180-120=60 degrees

angle u=linear pair=180-130=50 degrees

angle x=angle sum property of a triangle=180-120=60 degrees

q8. x=angle sum property of a triangle=180-70=110 degrees

take AB as transversal and it is given that DE and BC are parallel.

so  y=110 degrees as x and y are corresponding angles.

then take AC as transversal so angle z= 40 degrees as angle c and angle e are corresponding.
