As you can see triangle SPQ is right angled
So we can apply pythagoras theorom
PS^2=SQ^2+PQ^2
PS^2=(7)^2+(24)^2
PS^2=49+576
PS^2=625
PS=root 625
PS=25
So we can apply pythagoras theorom
PS^2=SQ^2+PQ^2
PS^2=(7)^2+(24)^2
PS^2=49+576
PS^2=625
PS=root 625
PS=25

By Pythagoras theorem
in triangle PQS,
PS square = PQ square + Q S square
PS square =24 square + 7 square
PS square=576+49
PS square=625
PS=25cm
in triangle PQS,
PS square = PQ square + Q S square
PS square =24 square + 7 square
PS square=576+49
PS square=625
PS=25cm
