Given : 6 right angles triangles

To Find : value of x

Solution:

Pythagoras theorem

P² + B² = H²

P = Perpendicular

B = Base

H = Hypotenuse

i)  x ² = 3² + 4²

=> x² = 9 + 16

=> x² = 25

=> x = 5

ii)  x ² = 6² + 8²

=> x² = 36 + 64

=> x² = 100

=> x = 10

iii)  x ² = 15² + 8²

=> x² = 225 + 64

=> x² = 289

=> x = 17

iv)  x ² =7² + 24²

=> x² = 49 + 576

=> x² = 625

=> x = 25

v) x = 2 √(37² - 12²)

=> x = 2 * 35

=> x = 70

mistake in data in 6

as 12² + 5² = 13²

Area = (1/2) * 12 * 5  = 30

or Area =  (1/2) * 13 * 3  =  19.5

19.5  ≠ 30
