Answer:

If these points are collinear then it is having area is equal to zero

1/2[x,(y2 -y3)+x2(y3 -y1)+X3(y1 - y2)]=0

1/2[k(4)+2(-1-k)+4(k-3)]=0

4k-2-2k+4k-12=0

6k-14=0

6k=14

k=14/6=7/3

it's the answer
