(1-sin^2 A) sec^A
=cos^A. sec^2 A
=1

Answer to your question:
(1 -   { \sin(x) }^{2}  { \sec(x) }^{2}
 =  { \cos(x) }^{2}  { \sec(x) }^{2}
 =  {  \cos(x)  }^{2}  \frac{1}{ { \cos(x) }^{2} }
 = 1
