Re writing the given value we get,

106^{2} =(100+6)^{2}

Comparing the given equation we get,

\left[(a+b)^{2}=a^{2}+b^{2}-2 a b\right]

substitute in above equation we get,

\begin{array}{l}=(100)^{2}+(6)^{2}+2(6)(100) \\=10000+36+1200 \\=11236\end{array}

Hence the value is 11236.
