• Formula for division:

       $Dividend =( Divisor \times Quotient )+ Remainder$

• We divide numerator and denominator of given fraction to get the answer

• To divide , we take reciprocal of second term by changing the sign of division into multiplication $( \frac{16}{5} )\ \div \ (\frac{-2}{5} )$    

         $(\frac{16}{5})\times ( \frac{5}{-2})$

          $= \frac{80}{-10} \\= -8$
