( 49 ) ^2
= (50-1 ) ^2


(a - b) ^{2}   =  {a}^{2}  - 2ab +  {b}^{2}
 = ( {50}^{2} ) - 2 \times 50 \times 1 + ( {1}^{2} )
 = 2500 - 100 + 1
 = 2500 - 101
 = 2399
