Here is the answer you were looking for:
 {(5p - 7q)}^{2}  \\  \\ using \: the \: identity \\  {(a - b)}^{2}  =  {a}^{2}  +  {b}^{2}  - 2ab \\  \\  =  {(5p)}^{2}  +  {(7q)}^{2}  - 2 \times 5p \times 7q \\  \\  = 25 {p}^{2}  + 49 {q}^{2}  - 70pq

(5p-7q)^2=(5p)^2 + (7q)^2 - 2(5p)(7q)
  
=25p^2 + 49q^2 - 70pq
