Hi ,

***************

If ( x , y ) = ( p , q ) then

x = p ; y = q

***************"**

According to the problem given ,

( 2a - 3b , 4 ) = ( 4a , b + 5 )

2a - 3b = 4a ; 4 = b + 5

- 3b = 4a - 2a ; 4 - 5 = b

- 3b = 2a ; - 1 = b ----( 1 )

- 3b / 2 = a

( -3 ) ( -1 ) / 2 = a [from ( 1 ) ]

3/2 = a

Therefore ,

a = 3/2 , b = -1

I hope this helps you.

:)

MandeepG: thank u so much
