2x²-5x+7=0

a=2 , b= -5 and c= 7

D=b²-4ac= 25-4×2×7 = -31

hence the roots will be imaginary

x= -b+- √D / 2a= 5+-√-31 /4

x= 5+-√31 i / 4

x= 5/4 +- √31 i /4

where i is imaginary no
