Step-by-step explanation:

x^3+10x^2+ax+b

x-1 = 0

x = 1

put x = 1 in given polynomial

1^3+10*1^2+a+b = 0

1+10+a+b = 0

11+a+b = 0 —(1)

x+2 = 0

x=-2

put x=-2 in given polynomial

(-2)^3+10(-2)^2+a(-2)+b = 0

-8+40-2a+b = 0

32-2a+b = 0 —(2)

solving (1)&(2), you will get the values of a and b
