a+ib =x+ia /x-ib

Rationalizing.
=]]x+ia /x-ib × x+ib /x+ib.
=]]x^2-ab+ibx+iax. /x^2+b^2.

So,

a=x^2-ab /x^2+b^2.

b = i(bx+ax)/x^2+b^2 / x^2+b^2.
b=bx+ax /x^2+b^2.

a/b =x^2-ab / bx+ax
